I am posting this a little late and as a former employee. This place is horrible. I have seen so many things here broken protocols, fire hazards be broken, crazy understaffed, there were times for weeks that I was the only cna in the building. They are under newer management, the management now DON and assistant DON were actually fired from the last building they were at due to harassing the employees amoung other things, and escorted off the property only to be hired here and then brought the crappy employees from the last ... read more

This is Bobs wife, Cindy. Our sister stayed at Smokey Mountain Rehab for several weeks. The care and professionalism displayed by everyone from the office staff to the therapists, from the housekeepers to the nurses/ Nurse Practitioner were exceptional. A special shoutout to Ashley and Emilie for their kindness and patience with our sister, Patricia. I highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for caring, competent and exceptional care!

My grandfather was here for 25 days after major surgery and had to be re-hospitalized for infection, dehydration, and poor nutrition. In my opinion, this facility is not currently equipped to help someone heal after major internal surgery. Perhaps if they hire more nurses, but they really don’t have the staff to adequately care for each person as is. Some of the staff were very kind and helpful and I appreciate that, but they really should not be accepting patients that they can’t adequately care for. There were repeated iss... read more
