my fiance and I were staying a couple nights in black hawk and read about this bbq place online. it is so freaking good! the pulled pork is amazing!! french fries were hot and delicious. my fiance had collard greens and fried catfish he loved it! we came back the next day for more!! soo delicious!!!! we will always hit this place when we are in the area!!!
Visited the last Friday in September around noon. LOVED the 3 meat + 2 side combo. There were three of us and we took a bit home. (brisket, ribs, pulled pork + smoked baked beans, potato salad) Enjoyed every bite! The boiled peanuts were suprisingly good, too! Will stop back when next in Colorado.

We enjoyed sliced brisket sandwiches with sweet potato fries and fried okra. We preferred the regular sauce over the sweet or spicy versions. Served ranch dressing for the sides, which was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband enjoyed the complimentary boiled peanuts. My first time trying. 🤢.
