Omg...so good. First time here, won't be the last. The combo ribs and pulled bbq was fabulous. Had slaw, fried okra...cooked to perfection. Love that they had NC vinegar based sauce. So authentic! The nanas pudding is more mousse like...so smooth and yet fluffy. We wish this was closer, but well worth the drive from Athens.
We were out in the area to visit a friend and I've been following this place in FB (as they battled the city to have their pig mural on the building), so we thought we'd try it. Excellent! Kelly our waitron was so friendly, wow, real customer service. Real sweet tea, the brewed stuff (right southerners?), ribs like butter, mayo-sour cream based potato salad (I fell in love with the stuff), sweet baked beans with bits of pork. Every time I come in this place the pork sandwhich is so dried out that you have to soak it in BBQ sauce to even get it down. Won't be coming back
It's awesome, great food and great service!!!!! Think I know who's catering our wedding....LOL
We tried the pulled pork, ribs & chicken. Everything had a great smoke on it! They have 5 sauces to choose from. We liked sneaky and sweet. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely return! Oh... all of the sides were great too!
