I’ve always thought highly of this place, came in at 8:00, an hour till close, staff already cleaning as if they were leaving in 5 minutes. Some staff was very rude and we were shocked. I’ve been coming here since I can Remember, sometimes 2-3 times a week. I’ve never had this happen before. Hate to see this happening to the good old hometown restaurant. I guess if this continues to happen my money will be spent elsewhere.

Thanks for alerting me to this issue: Today, I spoke with our dining room manager as well as the entire staff in an effort to rectify this issue. I addressed the need for us as a team to remember why we are here, and whom we are working for... our guests. Additionally, I implemented some new policies in order that we may honor our friends and guests more efficiently. Brunswick stew is great. Homemade potato salad is wonderful. Pork has fantastic smoky flavor and no fat or gristle. Sauces are really good. We go out of our way to go here when we are in the area.

Oh my stars!!! The Butter Dry Rub Wings are amazing!!!!!’ We each got different meats to try. Ribs and pulled pork are very good. All the sides we tried were delicious. Brunswick Stew, potato salad, baked beans and the fried okra. I don’t know what took me so long to try, but I’m glad I finally did. This will be the first of many visits.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Had the pulled pork, ribs, baked beans and potato salad. Tender, flavorful and no sauce needed. Chunks of pork in the yummy baked beans and the potato salad I am gonna try my best to duplicate at home cause it is just that good!! Finished it off with their unique spin of banana pudding. Delish! I’m stuffed and thankful it’s not in my backyard but I will definitely be back when passing through. My new favorite BBQ!!
