Food was crazy good. Some of the best brisket I have ever had. Owner and wait staff were cool. Hope to go back when I visit San Diego again!
I got the ribs, the item says full spare ribs, which is misleading. I ordered the full spare ribs, I got 4 bones and a side of Mac and cheese, cost was about $32.00. You got me this time and it's the last time. After trying the food, the ribs were, i feel sitting under heat until sold, mac & cheese not good! Good luck.
As a lifelong BBQ lover who’s eaten some incredible barbecue across the country, I never expected to say the best BBQ I’ve ever had would be in San Diego.. but here I am. Found this place on Instagram, happened to be nearby, and gave it a shot. It absolutely blew me away. I had higher expectations for such a high priced restaurant. I chose the burnt ends and I was pleased with the size of the burnt ends and flavor, the beans were ok (could have a little of a kick to them, waaaay too sweet), DO NOT waste your money on the corn bread, there was no flavor in the "honey butter" and the corn bread itself was just not worth the money or the carbs. Food is not worth the price. Everything was bland , it was disappointing. Sweet tea wasn’t even sweet. Server was a bit awkward. But the male server was very friendly. I would not recommend this restaurant. Please don’t waste your money here. I didn’t eat any food but didn’t let it go to waste and provided it to homeless.
