Polk County, Florida is known for top-notch pork. Smoking' Jim's serves excellent pork ribs — the best I've had anywhere. I also recommend the restaurant's pulled pork.
Went here after seeing a YouTube video of someone we watch stopping here. Food looked good so we had to try it while in Orlando Vacationing from NH Don't let the looks of the place make you not stop food was really good and got ALOT of food for the money. Our waitress was very sweet and chatty she made sure we had everything and checked on us often. We recommend this place to anyone looking for good pulled pork and smoked turkey .
Smokn Jim's not only has great bbq also has great people wrkn 4 him that really care about u having a great dinning experience,the only thing I am hating is :got in town sun and mon. But they weren't open.I've been all ovr the us in search 4 great bbq,and Jim's is one of the best.I am from st.Louis so u have to "show me",Jim's is better than tx. And K.c. bbq trust I no!!!!! Awsome, first time eating here and loved the food and service. Even meet the owner outside as we left and he talked with us for a while. Super nice.
This place was difficult to find as the street sign is out, we think. If you are in the area, you are well advised to pay a visit, order, sit a short spell before your food arrives, then hopefully enjoy as Sheila and I did. These people know you want it and are ready to give it to you!
My favorite place to eat! The steaks are delicious but my favorite is the loaded potato with pulled pork, cheese and sour cream! Yum!
Amazing. I get my Thanksgiving ham and turkey from here every year. I'd eat here every day if my budget would allow it.
