Good BBQ is hard to come by around these parts, but Smokin Iron nails it. As a born and raised Texan, in Idaho, I can’t believe it took me this long to come out to Meridian and tie this place a try. ABSOLUTELY worth it. The fatty brisket melts in your mouth, the jalape�o cheddar sausage pops even when sliced, the beans are delicious, the potato salad is phenomenal, and I couldn’t be more grateful they have Big Red to drink 🤤. I’ve been here twice and will continue to return.
Everything about this place is awesome. Someone told me about it when I was at the dog park. My buddy and I came here and weren't disappointed. Since them I have taken family here when they are in town and everyone loves it. I have to expect that anyone who isn't happy with the food doesnt have the correct expectations for what kind of food this is.
Fantastic brisket, does a great job with Gluten-free needs.
The wagyu brisket is 10/10! Staff was good. Location … fair. But the brisket….. PS: The brisket is amazing!
