The food is as good as it looks in the pictures - even better! We tried Smokin' Hots for the first time using a Groupon and so glad we did. It is nothing fancy, but the place is clean, the food very authentic southern BBQ, and the staff friendly and aimed to please. I had a delicious BBQ chicken sandwich, and there was so much meat in the bun, I could hardly finish it. I took half of the yummy mac salad home with me. This is a place for those that are looking for a TRUE Southern BBQ food! Food is awesome, never had anything that we didn't like. It is a fabulous family oriented place. Staff is as friendly as can be and are willing to go out of their way to serve you. We showed up one day 2 hours before they actually opened and they were willing to serve us any how.
I can't say enough good things about this place. Ever since moving here from Texas, I have been looking for some true Southern BBQ. You folks here in NY think the Dinosaur is true Southern BBQ, but it isn't even close. Smoking Hots however is the real deal. Reminds me of being back in the South. Delicious chopped pork, chopped chicken, beans, potato salad, cornbread for 20 people delivered hot and on time with all the service wear. Their bbq sauce is excellent - not too sweet with a little heat, perfect!
The food is amazing and the customer service is excellent! I highly recommend it for everyone to try.
