This food truck comes to my work often as a treat from our owner. I must say hands down the BEST brisket and smoked sausage I have had in this area of the country. Brisket normally is overcooked, this guy nails it! Great potato salad too, which is another easy screw up. All around awesome food, have had this truck a hand full of times and always awesome.
A friend of ours who claims to have made pilgrimages to the best Texas BBQ joints recommended Smokin' Barrel. Finally had time to make the drive today. Hit the trifecta: porkbelly, brisket and pulled pork. All superb. $42 worth actually fed 4 adults, 4 kids, and one teenager. I judge a place by their beans and they were terrific to. Y'all did justice today!
Tried this last night at the 2nd Annual Food truck event in Benson. Hands down the best BBQ Brisket I have ever had.

My only review for anything, ever. What to expect: great smoked flavor balanced with fantastic tangy sauce. The sides are spectacular - though the beans don't look like much at first glance they are very well flavored. Catering a family party with Smokin Barrel, solely based on Facebook reviews, was the best decision I could have made. There is a clear connection between the passion for BBQ and the product, and I will swing by for lunch every time I am remotely close.

First had this last thursday at Dillion Brothers Harley Dealership for Throttle Thursday. OMG I haven't had brisket in forever and this was so good I had to get an extra tray to take home for later that night. I don't usually track down resteraunts on facebook but I did Smokin Barrel so I could be sure to get their schedule and get to eat there again soon.
Fantastic ribs. Sauce is probably good, but I wouldn't know because the meat didn't need it. Good value, will definitely be back.
I don't usually leave reviews or ratings unless I've had an awful experience or I'm blown away. Today was my first experience with Smokin Barrel and man was it good. I'm skeptical when it comes to food trucks because you never know what kind of gut bomb you're going to receive. Well if I could eat their turkey sandwiches every day till the day I died, I would. It was amazing. Can't wait to take my wife. Now my review is based solely on the turkey sandwich I had today but I can only imagine everything else is just as good.
