Came for lunch and it was excellent .. came back at 4 and got full rack ribs and 2 lbs brisket.... best I’ve had in a looooong time.... Matt moscona got me hooked from his radio show!! I WILL visit again...
As a person that drives from Ventress, LA just to eat at Smokin Aces 2-4 times a month; I found myself very disappointed. Two of the sides I love have been changed. The potato salad and the macaroni and cheese. As I drove in the bad weather just to taste the daily special I love; I found myself disgusted and throwing it away. The first thing I noticed was the color of both very dark. The potato salad had almost raw potatoes in it. Blah! The macaroni was as dark as Cheetos. Brisket was so good and tender. The beans and the potato salad on point too. Can’t wait to go back.
Service was great. The cashier interacted with us and our 18 month old in a friendly manner and even made him laugh. We order and were served in under 10 minutes.
My husband & I had the pulled pork sandwiches for lunch on Friday around 2:30pm. I had a side of potato salad & my husband had a side of mac-n-cheese. I must say that I love your BBQ sauce, the pulled pork had a great smoky taste & was juicy. I liked my potato salad but loved my husband's mac-n-cheese. Great bun for the sandwich to because it was not toasted too much & did not have a lot of butter on the top of the inside of the buns. Not our first time here and usually it is all good. This is the first time we had so many in line we had to wait a little while. As always the meats were very good, fries & coleslaw also good but the beans were just so-so. Like they came out of a can.

I have been wanting to try for two years but was never able to experience. The wait was worth it! I ordered the brisket plate and i am very satisfied with everything, those fries are 🙌🏾...the mac and cheese was a little too cheesy but thats just me picking. AMAZING!
I just love it the best rib in town . Everyone just try them for yourself get there early before they sell out.
