Absolutely awful experience at Smokeyard Mammoth Lakes. First night in Mammoth with a large group and we decided to do pickup instead of going out. We placed a $500+ order. When we arrived, the order wasn’t ready. Totally fine — it was busy and we were patient. While waiting, I politely asked the young guy at the front to please make sure ketchup was included and that the ranch we paid for was packed correctly. The food and ambiance was actually really good. The prices of food are insane. $22 for a pulled pork sandwich, $35 for three strips of meat. Sadly, it's probably some of the best tasting food we've had so far. If you are visiting Mammoth, you may as well go to the grocery store and cook for yourself. That will still be insanely expensive, but more like what restaurant prices used to be.

If you appreciate smoked meet, this place is not worth your visit. I had BBQ ribs, but was offered a rack of flavoreless boiled ribs, so mushy it was impossible to eat by hand. Covered with sweet sauce to try to hide the true identity of the ribs. A big disappointment for a place calling itself a BBQ house.
