ordered the 1/2 chicken which tasted old and overcooked. quite pricey given how little chicken we got and how untasty it was. service was attentive—though, they were still quick to bring us the check despite it not being v busy. fries were good though.
Our go to barbecue joint on the way home from Mammoth. Always great food, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Smokeyard wins the award for the worst service attitude in Mammoth: from the rude and disgruntled host, the hour wait for a table despite numerous free tables left vacant for over half hour, to the condescending restaurant manager which came to warn us that we won’t be able to move to a table if we order food at the bar area, ending with the multiple menu items not available when we finally sat down.
