Unprofessional and by far the worst rental experience I have ever had. I have never left a negative review before, but after months of dealing with ongoing issues, I feel this needs to be shared. Honestly at first this agency seems good but now WOW was I wrong ! The apartment I was renting was a box inside a box, literally. I always reported when something wasn’t working or there was a leak which would take a week or so for the request to be discovered unless I called. Because of my job there was times I wasn’t at the apartment for weeks or a month a time which I notified the agency. Out of the amount I paid to rent the apartment and the $2.49 additional fee. We have rented from them for about 2.5yrs now I believe. Always send handyman when we put a request in (someone said they only consider fires emergencies which is not true, we've had our heat go out and they sent someone right away), only increased rent when we hit the 2nd year and that was $50 and gave us a few month warning it was coming so that was completely fair. Where do I even start! SMOKER PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IS A DISASTER! I am still fuming about my experience with these bottom feeders! They contacted us about a property, got us all excited and then ghosted us after taking our $100 application fee! That’s how they get you, everyone that will be living In the home must fill out a $50 application fee! No property viewing, no communication, just radio silence. If you are a property owner or investor looking for property management, I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Since this company took over management of our property, the experience has been extremely disappointing. They added extra maintenance fees on top of what tenants already pay, which were never part of the original lease agreement. Changing financial expectations after a lease is already in place creates unnecessary tension for tenants and shows a lack of transparency. Communication has also been poor, and p... read more
