Went in with my son early evening Yes I did not have a reservation "We have 6 tablets ahead of you" The deck and the restaurant were with 7 occupied tablets I've asked for any table and promised it will be a short dinner "I have a high tablet near the bar but you have to order your food" OK I took it Went to order my food the 2 bartender were to occupied with 2 female customers giving them free drinks leftover cocktails and they don't see anything or anyone else. Brisket was fantastic. Sit on the deck for great views of mirror lake and surrounding mountains.
Great BBQ for a northern spot. The brisket was very good and so were the ribs and cornbread. The pulled pork was more on the spicy side. Cornbread was a perfect mix between cakey/sweet and gritty/bland.
This place used to be much better. The ribs were very sweet and the meat was dry. Some of us ordered salads with bbq chicken and it came with a slop of cut up bbq chicken that was way too saucy and overly sweet. They no longer even offer bbq chicken other than as a side on salads. And there’s only one choice of ribs now. They used to have dry rub and they no longer off that. I don’t think we will go back.
