Some things haven’t changed. The best bite in the world still involves six items: Smitty’s sausage, cheddar, sweet onion, serrano, and saltine, chased by a swallow of Shiner Bock. Otherworldly.
Like the bbq, but give me a break on the condiments. Weighed the pickles? Really? Not as good as the other two places in town. My last trip there.
Brisket was delicious, sausage was very greasy ribs were yummy...
Home town feel with the best BBQ you will ever have!
The food is so good we have been going for years and my father in law took his kids their now his kids Thaler the grandkids we took our granddaughter. My only complain is that you wait in line for the meat and another line for drinks and sides which took for ever . Please figure something out about that
Don't waste your time with side dishes, you will want to get meat drunk here.
Every BBQ lover in the world should visit Smitty's! It is a true bbq experience that I would imagine can only be found in Texas. The brisket was moist and flavorful. The sausage, again, a ton of flavor, but the ribs were to die for!!! After eating we decided to get back in the line for ribs to go, but sadly they had run out. I encourage everyone get your meal to eat there but make sure you get some ribs to go. You won't regret it!!
