What a great place! The Smiths are wonderful people, and the accomodations are incredible! Very clean, caring, and professional. Lots of outdoor play area, room to run, and opportunity for socialization. Great place to spoil your puppies and pooches

This is the greatest place! My dogs know when we are getting close while driving there and get so happy they are squealing when we pull in the driveway. My dog, Hunny was a shy shy shy dog and James and Nancy pulled her out of her shell. She loves to go to the Dog Lodge. They all get so much exercise when they are there because of the long walks with James. I don't worry at all when we are gone and they stay at the Lodge...true peace of mind.
I'm so glad I found the Smiths! My dogs have been staying with them for the past 7 years. I've left everyone from a young puppy to a senior citizen there and they've all received the same excellent care. It's clear that my dogs love going there - the pandemonium starts when I cross the train tracks on the way there and when I get there the dogs jump out of the car and never look back. My dog's love the Smith Dog Lodge. We have been faithful customers for many years. They loved my sweet Annie, our gentle giant, when she was ill. Hard to leave a dog when you have to travel and they are in their last days, but I knew that she would be loved and well cared for. I remain eternally grateful for that support.
My Lil girl Kiska is a Border Collie, and VERY good at it. I take her to the Smiths for fun, socialization, and mostly, to tire her out while I work all day. She has no problem communicating her displeasure with me when she feels she's not getting enough play days, so we incorporated some "camp days" into her week. She comes home very tired so I KNOW she's had a hard days play. This way we are both happy!! :o)
We discovered The Smiths Dog Lodge 7 years ago for our Ginger where she lives when we are in need of doggy daycare in which is Often. We would never consider taking our Ginger anywhere else. The Smiths Dog Lodge is very clean & sterile, warm & cozy, and Nancy & James have a real gift to care for our special Ginger. I know in my heart that Ginger loves it there & considers their place her second home and my husband & I can go away and have a very relaxed fun trip with no worries.
