Quite disappointed in the service at Smith’s Bar & Restaurant I had yesterday. Every time I visit the city, the tradition is to visit this place. I waited and watched multiple tables come in after me, order, and receive their food. After 45 minutes, the waitress said she was distracted and it was too busy. I was not checked on and it appears she forgot to ring in our order until I started to get up. Management offered me nothing. Surprised and disappointed.

I had a terrific burger at the bar before going to see a show.
Good beer selection and food was good. Midway through my dinner a different bartender started providing service. I finish eating and pay for dinner with my credid card. I say goodnight and walk out the door. I’m 10 feet out the door and the first bartender chases me and confronts me and asks me if “I settled up”. Embarrassing. I go back in and show her my receipt and point out the bartender who I paid. They apologized but I was put off by this.
Patty behind the bar is the one reason we always go there! And the foods amazing also!
