I like there service. I work near by so I don't have time to drop my car. So I talked to chris, Chris came with the his mechanic and he picked my car and Drop my car too after my car wheels allignment. Thank you . Must Recommended
I have been working with Brian and Chris for over a year now on numerous occasions for all three of my cars, Volvos and Hondas. They are extremely professional, courteous, friendly, fair, honest and prompt. They give me rides home, stay after hours so that I can pick up my car, and give great advice about repairs. I am so happy I've discovered Smith's, though sadly only after wasting thousands at dealers and specialists.
I was new to Katy and nervous about finding a mechanic. I'm somewhat car savvy, but I'm also a woman and fully expected to have to go through several before finding someone I trusted. I could not have been more wrong. I found Smith's Auto Repair online and saw their ratings on many sites was phenomenal. I've been going to smiths automotive for a long time his prices are the best in town . He has taken me to work while my car was being worked on. Outstanding
My friend and I are actively heading out of town to a bachelor party. As we are passing through Katy his truck stalls out on the freeway unexpectedly. Freaked, we turn it over and pull off to an Auto Parts. They test the engine, battery, and alternator- no issues. We look up nearest places and find Smith's and head there. They are packed- it's 4:30pm on a Friday. The mechanic tells us he isn't sure what they can do but he notices something quick- a leaf in the O2 sensor. After reading various positive reviews, I thought I would give them a try. Called ahead the day before and was lead to believe issue would be a relatively quick fix. Took vehicle in a little before 0800 and after listening to various excuses, changing stories and my doing quite a bit of walking finally got the vehicle back a little over six hand half hours later. Do not recommend.

I have been using Smith Automotive in Katy TX since 1999. The service is great and at an honest price. The best thing about Smith Auto is they DO NOT try to up-sale you like all the other places! As a woman, I always felt at a huge disadvantage whenever taking my cars in for service...I felt like I paid way too much for things I really did not need...I never left a service center feeling good about being there!
