Normally Smiths has great customer service. Not today. I've called four different times to the Louisiana Blvd. location in Albuquerque. All four times the rude lady that answered has "transferred" me to customer service (I was calling to check if they found my drivers license) and it rang for 8 minutes before I finally hung up. Eight minutes is the longest I waited the other three times I called I waited at least 3 minutes. It is so frustrating and I would expect more from them! I absolutely love this store. We are regulars and usually are known by all...except for the few newbies. Sometimes busy and grouchy. But with a kind word and smile, they return it right back.
I enjoy coming to this store (S Rainbow) and have always had a pleasant experience due to the friendliness of the staff. Apparently I took for granted how great their customer service is because now that I live closer to the Southern Hills store, and their service is so severely lacking in comparison. I will be making the further drive to this more professional and cleaner Smiths, to not deal with frustrations of the other location again.
