Was told by cairns base midwives that there was a weekly clinic nurse available on a certain day, rang for more information only to have the reception staff trying to give me medical advice over the phone. Just wanted to know when the clinic nurse was in, didn't want advise from a receptionist, thanks.
I’ve been here a few times and to be completely honest I wasn’t happy with the service. Not by the reception staff but the dental staff. It seems like they are not interested in helping you. I went in with a pain in my tooth. I knew which tooth, it didn’t show up on the Xray but I could feel it, it was a small pinhead hole. You can’t see it with the naked eye so I used their tool to put it in for them and immediately I felt the pain. The staff and dentists at the Smithfield Community Centre were amazing, the care and professionalism was evident as soon as I entered the building. Am new to the area and am so very grateful to have such a wonderful service close by.
