Made reservations ultra easy and just the day before. Was greeted wonderfully. Brought to tabke immediately. Waiter was excellent and helpful. Porterhouses were cooked to perfection and flavor wonderful. Their Mac&cheese side do not dismiss. Anything but ordinary. And I would never eat Mac&cheese. We had a fantastic wine at reasonable price for NYC. Benanti Etna Rosso. Service was perfect. Will go back.

I wish I was leaving a more positive review--I personally was looking forward to the dining experience based on this restaurant's reputation. Unfortunately, we had sub-par service. 1. We ordered our food. After getting our appetizers, we waited over an hour for our entrees. I understand things can go awry with orders or whatever else, but what we did not understand was that the waitress did not come for more than 40 minutes (not exaggerating) to check on us or to give us an update.
