Review / Formal Complaint – Smith Street Medical Centre ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) I have been attending Smith Street Medical Centre for a long time, but today I experienced the worst treatment ever. I called to make an appointment, and the receptionist told me, “You don’t belong here,” and suggested I find another clinic — clearly implying I wasn’t welcome because I’m not Vietnamese. I called to make an appointment, but the receptionist was extremely rude. She told me there were no appointments available and asked if I was a new patient. When I said yes. she informed me that the doctor only sees existing clients and abruptly ended the call. I've never encountered such poor customer service before

I have been attending this clinic for over twenty years. It is unique, you phone or come in early and take a number, get a coffee or do your shopping and then come back. You see Dr Chan who keeps up to date with research, compassionate, listens and helps you. Then you are bulk billed. The receptionists are firm but fair.
