Hired then in 2022 to do income taxes. Didn’t give us good advice which made borrowing money impossible. Never took our phone calls when we wanted an update on our filings. Screwed our filing so bad that we’re still dealing and paying for it to this day. Would not recommend this firm at all.

Jorge Ruiz was my CPA since 2016 until we parted ways in 2024. Jorge incorrectly advised me for years that my business (that Jorge registered) did not have to pay state taxes and now I owe over 50k to the comptroller. I filed a complaint with Texas State Board of Accountancy and petition filed with the court demanding remedy. Jorge is aware of the issue but refuses to take responsibility, at the very least the penalties and interest. Very unprofessional from a partner of an accounting firm.
