Highly recommended. Smith Roofing has put 2 roofs on my house since 2008 and the 2nd time was the fault of Mother Nature, NOT the lack of craftsmanship. If anyone remembers that hail storm we had in the DC area in early May 2016. It was a doozy! And while I didn't think it had any damage my insurance company said it needed to be replaced. Smith Roofing Co did a fantastic job replacing our old roof! Communication with owner George Smith was wonderful and he was very easy to work with. He answered phone calls and called back promptly after I left messages. He was very helpful in the process of choosing type and color of shingles. I was impressed with the high quality materials he uses. His employees are very hard working, courteous and respectful. I highly recommend Smith Roofing Co if you need a new roof or any roof repairs.

In 2023, we got a roof leak and contacted 4 companies for estimates. We got the whole range of costs and recommendations, including to replace a16 year old roof installed with 50-year shingles (so nowhere near maturity). George came out on short notice (after another company had placed a tarp over the leaking area a few days prior). George and his team were amazing! From start to finish, they exceeded all my expectations. The team was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the roofing process.
