If you are the Dr. Smith’s patient, or you are going to choose her to be your physician, it is important for you to know that the nurse doesn’t do Prior Authorization for prescribed medication. I didn’t know that. The office doesn’t have policy regarding PA. When I called nurse about PA, she plainly told me that she was having other things to do, and suggested me to pay the full price for my medication which was ten times more than if covered by my insurance.
