Was a customer for over 25 years. Needed a new HVAC last year and couldn't get financing, so the owner financed it himself. We are trying to pay it off, but are also having personal and financial troubles. The new owner will not let us have any service and says he is not a charity. Our a/c is not working. On Jan 4 my thermostat registers 68 degrees downstairs when it was set for 72 degrees. The upstairs registered 71 degrees and was 71. I called Smith and Keene to come to my house on a Saturday. After I explained to them the issue, they said I need a $789.00 motor for carbon monoxide rusted out, had to what 2-3 days to get in. Meanwhile my house downstairs was freezing.
