After a very long week of sleazy "used car salesmen" I went to Smith Haven this morning. I was expecting to find Thousands of dollars in fees added to the Online Price . Everywhere else, the online price of 19,000 was actually 22,500. At Smith Haven, they don't charge fees - none. The 19,000 online price was the price. Add tax and dmv and you are out the door. Unbelievable.I felt like I stole It. I will never go anywhere else. Ever. Thanks John !!!!!!!
Terrible experience. They backed out of the deal after not wanting to acknowledge their mistake. I would probably have made the deal if they could have taken responsibility .
I would give them less than one star if that rating was offered!! I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve bought a reasonable number of cars in my life, all types, and have also dealt with all forms of selling. I know when I am dealing with good honest, intelligent people, and also when I am dealing with the other lousy types. Went into the dealership looking for quotes and some newer models, when I was approached by Nick, a tenacious, serene, lively dealer at smith town. I was astonished by the amount of knowledge on cars, insurance, and business end Nick had on the system. Couldn't close a deal unfortunately but I will be back at smith haven in the future asking for Nick Eckert.
