When I lost my Dad in August I didn’t even think about calling any other funeral home other than Smith’s. I grew up in Elsie and have always thought highly of them and knew they would make sure I was taken care of. They have handled my other family members arrangements but this was the first time that I actually had to make the decisions . In 2005 my step dad Leon Fanion past away the funeral home told me my step dad payed to have my moms death date put on her head stone in middle berry somatary in ovid mi her name is leona Helt on her head stone did not get down there to see if they did or not. Well I final got down there and after 13 year to my surprise they still did not put the death date on her head stone all they had to do was put 1983 on her stone but they did not do it. I just how reliable they are .
