Even after I moved I still make the trip back to Smith & Davis - specifically back to Brian! He knows how to cut Asian hair!!! My last cut was the perfect mix of punky flair and still passes in a professional setting (if I pull it back the right way).
Such a beautiful salon such friendly staff and the fact they have a dog treat bucket out front and all the dogs in the neighborhood stop while on their walks for treats. Keira is amazing!! First I got my hair cut by her (which looked AMAZING) and then I asked her to make my hair look like a ripe cherry (specifically a Traverse City Cherry Festival red). She not only saw the vision but delivered!! I used to cut my own hair because I’d rather mess it up for free than have someone mess it up but I will never do that again on thanks to her!!
Izi turned my dry, dead hair into a layered bob masterpiece. After having my first child, I hadn’t taken the time for self care like before. My hair no longer wanted to grow, or take part in any styling. It was extremely frustrating. My first experience at this salon was a good one. A little message to the older hairdresser with the bright, outgoing style and checkered smock/apron..
