Smith & Company may at one point have been a reputable business; not anymore. We paid Cory over $3k in August 2023 to dig an egress window. At that time, he indicated that we would be on the schedule for September. September came and went, however, and then October. I’m not sure what to even say about this “company”. The owner showed up several days late to start the job, which we had lined up months in advance, so that was my first red flag. After showing up, he’d work about 90 minutes a day, a couple of days a week, sporadically throughout a 2-week job, which should’ve taken 72-96 hours max. After he said he was almost finished with the job besides cleanup, we paid for his services, and then he packed up his trailer, and bailed, leaving a huge pile of dirt in my backyard, which has no... read more
Arrived when he said would and did a great job.
Working with Cory was a breeze! He installed 2 egress windows and they are wonderful! Work was guaranteed to be done in 24 hours and he did 2 egress windows in less than 7 hours. Great craftsmanship, quality and professional. Cory communicated well and scheduling was a breeze! I would highly recommend Smith & Company construction!
Cory and his team were fantastic to work with. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. Adding an egress window to my basement I was expecting a big project and lots of mess, but it was the complete opposite. They arrived in the morning, and had everything completed SAME DAY. Definitely exceeded my expectations.
