My experience with Smith Builders has been excellent right from when I met Glenn at the Bangor Home Show. The men that worked on my building were professional and courteous, I got along well with all of them. Chris the project manager talked to me about many aspects of the project and asked for my input on how I would prefer some things to be done. They cleaned up the project area very well. I've had lots of work done on my many houses over the years. But the new roof that Smith Builders installed recently, was by far, the best service I've ever had. The quote was reasonable (for a big roof). The crew showed up promptly at 7:00am and worked like demons to strip the old roof and put the new one on by the end of the day. They left the yard in better shape than they found it. Other than the normal noise, I never heard a peep from them. I couldn't recommend them any more highly.
With my experience with Smith Builders, I would absolutely recommend them to replace your shingled roof if you are considering a new roof for your home. We were gone on vacation when our roof was done. I was assured that that this wasn’t an issue as they said it happens often. I gave them a list of things that I had concerns about and they did everything that I had asked them to do. Smith Builders is a top notch company! We recently hired them for two small projects and were are very happy with the work they did. Michael Gray and his team showed up when they said they would, they knew exactly how to fix the issues at hand and they were highly professional and courteous. Don’t waste your valuable time and money looking elsewhere for any of your roofing and gutter needs. We wish we had gone right to Smith Builders from the start.
