We recently had Smith Builders complete the second project for us, a new roof, after they previously installed new siding with insulation on our home. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them! Smith Builders recently replaced the leaky asphalt shingle roof on our home with a new metal one. Our old roof was only 20 years old but was already in very poor condition. Metal was not the least expensive option but we were looking for a roof that will outlast us (we're both in our 60's and don't want to be faced with replacing a roof when we're in our 80's or 90's) and the new roof really looks fantastic. Smith Builders installed standing seam metal roofing on our home. They proved themselves to be reliable, professional, and accountable, delivering a quality product. The site supervisor was meticulous and very knowledgeable. The metal installers worked diligently and carefully. Smith Builders did a great job! Brandon, the project manager for the reroofing project, was very helpful and communicative. He took the time to consider different options to figure out what would work best, provided a detailed quote and kept me informed throughout the process. The team that came to do the work was very pleasant and professional. Plus, they did a great job cleaning up. I would definitely recommend Smith Builders!
The workmanship was exceptional! We are so pleased with our new roof. Communication before the installation could have been better - we had materials showing up without being told to expect them...so if we hadn't been home that day, they would have been placed in our driveway or on our snow-covered, muddy lawn. They also left at the end of the first day without telling us they were leaving. Overall though, the crew and materials were top notch and we would definitely use Smith Builders again! We highly recommend them.
