I had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Bowman. He did an amazing job and has been following up with me ever since. I felt quite comfortable with him and I've also met with Dr. Smith who is fantastic! The office staff is very kind and helpful too..

My child and I had separate appointments at separate times with Dr. Smith and she was great! However, they make it really difficult to pay them. There is no online option, they sent a bill in the mail that said I could only pay by check (what century are we in?) and every time I try to call to see if I can pay over the phone, I get disconnected. I think they sent me to collections at this point, which is honestly probably a lot easier to pay.

Dr. Smith was amazing. I had an ongoing issue with my eye that I first visited the Moran Eye Center for — they did not take my concerns seriously, gave false conclusions and treatment that didn’t help. Dr. Smith was my saving grace as she was incredibly helpful, kind and ended up solving the problems I was having after correctly diagnosing and treating.

Not a good option for students with the U of U heath insurance When I scheduled my appointment I confirmed that they accepted my insurance (EMI Health). After the appointment was complete they clarified that they only accept EMI Health medical insurance, not vison, so I ended up paying an unexpected $188. The actual appointment went well, but the insurance issue left a pretty bad impression for me, and I've made sure to let other graduate students know to steer clear.
