I have been a lender in Southern IL for several years. I have worked with Darren Smith for the last six years. I can not believe the reviews he has received. He would never tell someone to stick it. and he does not rip people off. Just because you disagree with an appraisal you should not attack him. He is just doing his job. Darren used our company for services. An appointment was scheduled and was a no show. We billed him for the time. Darren calls the office and told me that he was not going to pay our bill and to take the invoice and "stick it" and then hung up on me. Very unprofessional to talk to a person like this and I am glad he will not be calling us if he is going to treat people like this.
Rip off!!! Darren does not follow the laws and will screw you over. He can not be trusted. Do not use Darren Smith for anything!
