I honestly don't know what part of this place I like best. Found it by accident while searching on google and it was the best thing to happen this season. My two and a half year old loved the animals and how much you could interact with them. The ice cream was a close second. We will definitely come back.

My granddaughters had so much fun. I never realized how many animals they have there to see. We will definitely be back.

Been to SH plenty of times for ice cream and their milk, but never for the animals. We had family in town so we tried it. I wasn't sure what to expect for the six bucks (adult admission). I originally thought it was small but once inside I was surprised at how large it was. It had a wide assortment of animals. I try to shy away from"zoos" because of the animal welfare factor. I'm not a vet, but the animals seemed well cared for and their pens were clean and maintained for the most part. Some pens were actively being cleaned ... read more
