I became a patient of Okaloosa Family Dentist in 2023 and have been so happy I found Dr. Hoy! After several disappointing experiences with other local dentists, I had all but given up. I had a procedure six weeks ago and kept wondering why my insurance company hadn't paid the claim since the office staff told me they had sent it in and that it takes 30 days to process. Today, I called my insurance company, and they told me they have not received any claims! So I called the office. DO NOT have anything done prior to getting a quote and estimate directly from your insurance company. DO NOT rely on office staff and the quote that they provide. It was shared with me that they are not responsible for verifying insurance. Me thinking - why do I provide my dental insurance information up front?
