Never again All I went there for was a simple cleaning and check up but came out with estimated $1300 of dental work. I say estimate because who knows how much more they would have added to the cost after my second visit. They wanted to do scaling and they used scare tactics to try to scare me into doing it. smilecare, elk grove---more like moneycare unprofessional bastards. went for just a review on my tooth ache but from the receptionist to the dentist all i got was rudeness and a cold feeling like they dont give a s--t about my toothache. Even the dentist talked rudely to the co-workers hence the whole atmosphere is so chilling. Smile care La Mesa I used this office for a couple of years. I was happy with the service. but there is things they can definitily do better. Like the appointment wait time its way too long. They always over book. I found that if you take the first appt in the am. is way better. Also its hard for them to return a call. And they did misplaced my kids charts a couple of time. But overall its pretty good. Of course I was able to find another location that is way better!! And I moved on.
HORRIBLE This is the second smilecare office I have been to, and the story stays the same. When I came in I waited for an hour because they said they could not find my chart. Then after they informed me they could not find it and made me fill out all of my information AGAIN. So after they made a new chart, I waited for another 20 mins because they forgot to put my appointment in and no one new I was waiting. WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER So I called to ask a question a couple of hours before my appointment and they had forgotten to inform me that I was not supposed to eat or drink anything before my appt. So I had top cancel. They made a new appt. I ended up calling the day of because They never called to confirm. HORRIBLE DENTIST AND STAFF DONT USE THIS HORRIBLE DENTIST!!! The bonding on one of my teeth came off so I went to them to get it fixed. I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes then was taking in the back and put in a chair. They left me sitting there for another 2 hours. Finally after I had been there 2.5 hours past my appointment time, I was seem by the dentist. He barely glance at my tooth and then told me I needed a crown. Which I know for sure I did not. medical assistant I took all 3 of my boys for a routine check up and I fill that they were good they were friendly and they didnt act unprofessional. . I fill that everyone should feel good where they work and talk like normal people. if you had a good weekend why not talk about it. over all I think they were good I didnt have to wait and I give them a dumbs up now western dental sucks they are the worst there is
Family Dentistry Office Unfortunately I am not able to recomend this office to anyone. Extermely long wait times in the office and complete lack of organization. Mixed up charts and lost doctors seem to be the norm for this office. After a lengthy hour and a half wait inside the rooms and various dentists arguing about who was seeing us I gave up. Would highly discourage visiting this place of business.
Run away far away I have had it with this grotesque poor excuse for a dental office I went in and was x-rayed they told me I needed three crowns fine they started prep on the ground and the temporary crown fell out time and time again and I said this is crap my friend she works at another dental office said hey girl did you forget I'm a hygienist I went into her office and guess what I did need three crowns but I also had 6 cavities that smilecare missed now I never got the crowns said STOP. got all work done at my friends w... read more
