My wife and I are both doctors in New Mexico and took our daughter to Dr. Smidt - we had an excellent experience with her and also both send our pediatric dermatology patients to her office regularly.

Dr Smidt was great. She knew exactly what was going on with our daughter and was able to answer our questions about the rare disease. We made a follow-up phone appt because we told her we would be out of town during the time she wanted to schedule the follow-up. When I called the morning of the appt, the woman told me that the appt was scheduled to be in-person and we had missed it by 15 minutes. I just left my daughters appointment with aimee and couldnt have felt more of a waste of time. She told us everything we already knew she didnt let me explain my frustration i had, and she saw one picture of my daughters rash and diagnosed her told us we didnt have to come back and didn't give me the chance to asl her any questions. I will not be going back to see her. She practically push us out the door and told us we didnt need to come back. Felt very rushed and like my concerns didnt matter to her.
