RecommendedI’m here with a friend who is having heart complications. At any rate, I truthfully can not say enough about the staff, cleanliness and attentiveness. All around the board, our stay has been fantastic! Even the food is alright. I mean at the end of the day it is a hospital, not Ruth Chris lol However I can honestly say that this was the best hospital he could have chosen. Class acts!
Seriously just sent my brother in law home straight from ICU a week after his stroke because they needed a bed. On Sunday my sister was told he could be there another 4 weeks. Today without warning she gets a call to go pick up her husband.

The ER department isn’t sufficiently ran. Having to wait three hours to be seen by triage is horrible. Not once was I told about testing to be done. Was just told to sit here and there. I had intense chest and left side pain, to the point of fainting. The excuse when asked to be seen by doctor was were extremely boarded right now. I totally get the busy part. Well here is how this goes. Wayne Arlington Cornell Jr. My husband was at Slidell Memorial Hospital for 2.5 days got admitted as soon as he got there with all his health issues. He had all the nurses and everyone laughing even when he was in pain would be comical 1 nurse even said he was a fun loving respectable patient even thru his pain and agnoy he was facing and said she will miss seeing him be discharged but wanted him well and to go home she was his nurse the whole stay...Continue Reading
After I was discharged... I don’t feel I should have been... I was waiting in the lobby for a ride and fell asleep.... I’m from Chicago and I don’t know my way around here but a very rude security guard threatened to call the police on me. I told him I’m waiting for a ride and asked if he’d rather me wait outside on the sidewalk and he said “we have plenty of law enforcement who drive by to watch out for people like you”. Well when you’ve had an appointment for over a week for an MRI then md imaging decides to close because of weather a phone call would have been appreciated. I hope this isn’t how you handle all your customer service. 😡
1100 wing needs a total revamp of nursing care, coordination and communication. My fiancé complained about his IV hurting and no one came for two hours. (Mind you, my fiancé has pipes for veins and is not a hard stick.) My fiancé was just discharged and the entire time he was there, the nurse let his IV pump beep and had someone else that was not a nurse in maroon scrubs come in and try to stop it— which she could not.
