I went here once. I had been going to another pain clinic that was far away and thought it would be easier to go somewhere closer to home. The doctor made me wait over an hour to be seen, no apology, looked at the records from my previous doctor and told me he would not give me any injections or medications. He also made me feel very uncomfortable as when he was telling me this, his face was an inch from mine and I was in a wheelchair with nowhere to go. I was really panicked about the idea of cortisone in my hip (have had many knee, shoulder & elbow shots). While I wouldn't say it was great, it was easy-peasy! They inject a numbing agent - and other than a little pressure on my hip, THAT injection was the only remotely painful thing! The nurses are absolutely fabulous there as is Dr. Todorov!
This I think is my 3rd attempt at releiving some of my lower back and leg pain. Steroid injections in the spine and ablasions work but they are not a permanent fix. Wish there was another alternative, but at my age I will just have to go with it and hang around and wait to die I went to Beth Israel Deconess Hospital in Plymouth. State of the art surgical team and doctors are equity with the latest equipment. I wouldn't hesitate going there.
Very positive experience. I felt comfortable in knowing there is no rushing into surgery. Veronica,PA is very knowledgeable and reassuring. It was refreshing to know you are being listened to and that includes the office staff. I highly recommend.
