Steve and Brenda were fantastic and extremely hospitable! We want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for welcoming us into the Banes Suite and the Smelly Gourmet, and helping get our honeymoon off to the best start a new married couple could wish for!! We really appreciated the personal touches, considerations, and introductions to fabulous people—not only did you literally open doors to breathtaking historical homes, you also opened doors to hearts. We WILL be back!!!!

OMGOSH the BEST PANINIS !! It’s definitely worth going. They also have homegrown popcorn kernels , popcorn is delicious !!
Been a while since we were here last, but loving it still. Service is Fantastic. Food and coffee, top notch! (How can you beat a grilled cheese with bacon, and ribeye?) Visited 3 times in one day, that is how much we enjoyed it. Thank goodness I don't live closer to them, or I'd be there every day. BTW Smelly, Thank You for Your Service! I don't think I had the chance to say it then, but it means more to me than you'll know.
This was my second time here, but first time eating. It was my mom's first time. The food was great! I highly recommend the sloppy joe and grilled cheese pannini. Really good with just a slight sweet taste. Mr. Smelly? himself came out twice to check on everyone. With it being Canal Days, it was very busy. My mom and my boyfriend loved their food as well. You have to stop here if you go to Metamora. The only downside is there was a superman comic book on the wall that I wanted to buy and forgot about.
The food was amazing! It has a beautiful patio area to eat on! And Spooky (the cat) is wonderful company!
