We ordered a double Swiss burger. Half way through eating it, we noticed a long hair that was cooked in the hamburger meat. We also ordered a bacon burger and we asked for no tomatoes. There was 3 tomato slices on the burger. The meat on the bacon burger was also beyond salty. We were not able to eat either burger and ended up spending about $40 just to eat a side of fries, tots and 1 fountain drink. It was definitely a horrible meal after working a 15 hour day.
Fries were cooked perfectly. Burger was juicy and tasty.
This Colorado Springs Smashburger has no business offering a drive‑thru. There was a sign saying “please be patient, we’re making your food fresh,” which apparently is code for a 28‑minute wait for a burger and fries. Time on Receipt stated 12:22, left the Drive Thru at 12:50. Drive‑thru is for fast food, not a surprise endurance test. If this location is regularly running 15–20+ minute drive‑thru wait times, then stop pretending it’s a convenience and shut it down. This was the worst experience ive had. I went in today for a simple double, no tomato or onion with a regular fry. When the food came out, it was wrong. They took it back and when it came out it was the same set of fries as it was when I sent it back. 10 minute old cold fries were disgusting. Then the burger. I took a bite and it was scorching HOT.
