Robert Augur from SmartStep Hearing came to my home, gave me an audio test (as well as one to my husband). The tests determined that I need hearing aids, but my husband does not. Robert returned and gave me some further tests and recommended hearing aids that would suit my condition. He is very pleasant and the process was easy for me. When the aids arrived, he calibrated them and showed me how to wear them and use the app that comes with them. I was referred Smartstep hearing by my daughter who was familiar with their business plan, after my first audiologist closed up shop. I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of Darin when he performed tests in dinning room on my ears that my prior audiologist didn’t do in office! My new hearing aids provide a fuller range of sound, which will take some getting used to and they offer adjustability far beyond my 5 year old model. Time will tell, but I have a great feeling about this working relationship!
Robert and Sharon are wonderful! They were so helpful in getting my 101 year family member set up with hearing aids - she is so happy and her quality of life in social situations has improved dramatically.
