Unfortunately after being a tenant to Smartland for 5 years I need to leave this review… I would not recommend renting from Smartland to anyone. After four years in one of their homes, I returned the property in the same condition it was rented to me (if not better). The walls were in normal condition, yet I was charged an outrageous amount for repainting and other “repairs” of which most are clearly considered normal wear and tear under Ohio law. Since this is the only place you want to respond I’ll just leave my complaint about my pregnant wife, 2 year old and myself not being able to have our water on for over 12 hours. There was a major leak that we called in as an emergency last night and y’all told us you would send someone right out. It’s now the next morning and I haven’t received any call email or text with any updates on the situation.
