This smart start device is completely GARBAGE. I've had my device I'm my car for about 2 1/2 months in and out of no where my car began having problems starting. I thought maybe it was my fault so I bought a BRAND NEW BATTERY foor $300 for my Mercedes Benz (which is push to start) and had the same issue, I went back to the mechanics to check other factors like wiring/ fuses/ engine/ starter etc. before complaining to smart start. Very impolite personnel. The manager will do anything in his power to make you angry and cause you trouble. I suggest the residents of Aurora and new market to drive a little more and use the center next town. You normally are facing enough headaches when dealing with you DUI conviction and dealing with these abusive persons is the last thing you want when you start your day.
Don’t use this company. I overpaid them by $100 and they will not refund
Have had to reset my device because they didn’t reset my service period. I got locked out due to their error and still had to pay $85. I ate pizza, blew and failed, blew again, passed- another $85. I was told I could get a refund for the first reset and the money would come off my second appointment. ( they never took the money off) I asked them why and they said they had no knowledge of a refund. Criminals. Device will not work in cold. Total scam from the start the have all the amounts and everything you go over paperwork and costs but that's not the actual costs you are charged. So right from the beginning you are told the installation cost and shop fees. They just want you to sign to agree then you get hit with special installation fees and and extra time to do that installation.
