Great management company. They always close out maintenance tickets within a day or two. Marc is great and always responsive.
This is by far the best apartment lease I’ve ever had. They have a platform that you can do everything online, their response timeframe is pretty fast. Thanks to Jesselle for all her support with my requests and inquiries, very professional and friendly.
I wouldn’t rent from Smart Management again. My experience with them had a lot of unnecessary headaches. The building manager was often rude and dismissive, and they kept trying to raise my rent way beyond what felt fair. Over three years, my rent went from 1800 to 2800, and nothing was ever improved to justify the increase. I will never rent from Smart Management again. My building manager was always short, rude, and consistently tried to bump my rent beyond what is reasonable. My apartment rent went from $1,800 to $2,800 over the course of 3 years and they never did anything to make it better. I was a reliable tenant who always paid on time minus two instances where my auto-pay messed up, they charged me for it and would not consider removing the charges, stating they're permanent.
