Astrid Sands at Smart Dentistry is horrible!! I wanted holistic dentist but this lady is bad news. Due your diligence, she is all about money. She will gauge you financially and physically. During an extraction of root canal tooth, she broke adjacent tooth, permanently numbed ( nerve damage) to 3 teeth next to extracted tooth. I've had an earache since, found Dr Lirano Natural Dentistry of Tampa who found a part of root she left behind. Infection brewing.. Had canine removed, placed an overly priced implant. I really hate to give this awful woman Dr. Astrid Sand even one star. I originally liked how the business was ran and that they seem very thorough. I went in to have an old amalgam removed. During the process, my mouth started filling up with water enough I could gargle with. I ignored it the best I could. Unfortunately, she had me laying so flat my head was tilted back and the water started going in my nose. At this point, I couldn’t breath and was choking. I asked her to stop.
