we have used smart choice 3 times now for different areas of afflicted injury. Smart choice has been well worth the drive of aprox. 100 miles . The area they need to improve most on is accomplishing there end to transfer the MRI image and the report to the Doctor or hospital . Example , the person in Waukesha that i dealt with began by telling me that the Mayo clinic wasnt in there system. I was freezing cold in lobby (thermostat set at 68) and even COLDER in the MRI room. My guess is 65. I have had many CT scans, mri and such and I never felt this cold. I asked for a heated blanket and the tech said: “ oh, we don’t have those”. I asked why and she said because the blanket can burn people “. I laughed. I’m sure it’s to keep cost down. I’ve never been refused a heated blanket before. They are in a controlled heater. They don’t BURN people. Plus, I wasn’t told I needed to pay up front. I already was maxed out wi... read more
They scanned the wrong leg. YOU HAD ONE JOB. I did receive a handwritten apology. The MRI quality was fine. People at the Richfield location seemed much more with it.
I am an orthopedic surgeon and have referred several patients to smart choice. The quality of the scans is excellent.
