3 days before the expected January 2026 cold snap, our furnace unexpectedly failed to ignite. Smart Air sent a tech out to diagnose the problem. The issue was traced to a faulty valve but replacing it caused a chain reaction of sorts. The new electrical component inside the new valve put stress on the 16 year old circuit board and caused it to fail after a couple of startup cycles.
