Pete quoted me $20k for hvac parts and labor. A local supply house quoted me $6800 for the parts. Which means they wanted $13k for 6 hours of labor. The also quoted me $10k for a new plenum, ducting, 9 outlets and 1 inlet.
Before confirming the service with Smart Air, I had called about 6–7 other places in the Houston area. What hooked me with this company was Jay. He was the only one who truly listened, asked questions about what was going on, and even gave me an idea of what the issue could be. I called this company so they could come and do a diagnostic and quote for a new unit. The quote was over $15k which I had to decide within a week otherwise, the price would go up 30-40% after that. And I don’t know if it was coincidence, but the day after they came the AC pipes were frozen! I had to call another company and got it fixed for way less to what they have quoted me.
Really appreciated Pete's service today...he truly has the customer's best interest in mind. Very impressed.
Pete was fantastic! He came to my home for an AC inspection and was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He took the time to explain everything clearly and gave me some great advice on how to keep my system running efficiently. I really appreciated his honesty and expertise.
