We recently changed pediatricians and took our kids to see Dr. Mark, and I can honestly say it was so refreshing to have a doctor make me feel truly seen and heard. This experience was night and day from the other pediatrician clinic we were at before. My daughter is autistic level 3, has developmental delays, is nonverbal, and has a feeding tube. Never bringing my kid back here. Doctor had the audacity to pressure my kid as she was terrified. She has a vast past medical history so of course being scared comes with the territory. Wouldn't take no for an answer when doing the exam. He said she just needs 14 hours of sleep a night and has anxiety. (Who actually sleeps 14 hours a night and wakes up rested?) Trying to deny the actual diagnosis she has from OHSU. What an absolute clown and crook. Be better. So disappointed.
Dr. Samantha was absolutely wonderful, and I can’t say enough good things about the care she provided to my children. She was compassionate, attentive, and truly made us feel heard and deserves 5 stars. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did. The care our family has received here has been inconsistent. There have been multiple instances where coordination of care has been challenging—particularly with lab work. We have experienced delays due to being referred to facilities that do not accept our insurance, which created unnecessary barriers to timely care. Additionally, there have been occasions where medical concerns were not addressed promptly, resulting in the need to seek care at urgent care facilities instead. Dr. Mark is a trustworthy and compassionate physician. I really appreciated our conversation about vaccines—he explained everything clearly, thoughtfully, and without rushing, which means a lot to me as a young mom of two. It’s reassuring to feel heard and to receive information that feels both factual and easy to understand. I’m grateful for the care and time he gives, and I would highly recommend him to other families looking for a doctor they can trust with their children.
