We took our 3 year old dog Stella here after finding out she had a heart murmur to get her evaluated. The staff was great and very informative. They were very transparent up front about costs as well. It was a great experience overall.
My dog got bitten by a rattlesnake and I brought her here for immediate treatment. They brought her back right away and she was admitted for antivenom therapy. The front desk staff and Dr. Taylor were absolutely wonderful. Because of their proactive measures and supportive care (and 8 vials of antivenom later) I got to take my dog home after 3 days and she is doing well! I am so thankful for everyone here that was involved in her care. Overall a very good experience.
I took my cat there after she was passing blood constantly in her feces and losing weight because of not eating. I had five appointments, and a cost of over $700, and no answers to the problem and no results. They gave me thyroid pills which caused a known side effect of no appetite...... Which almost killed my cat ! Finally I did talk with their director of operations in Gainesville who was extremely courteous and apologetic and he refunded all of my money. ***WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES*** I brought my 8 month old Australian Shepherd puppy in after an emergency accident at the groomers that ended up leading to the loss of an eye and they took great care of her so well. They did such a great stitch job that most people don't even realize she is missing an eye! Of course it's expensive, it's an emergency clinic!!
