I’ve been waiting over an hour to pick up my daughter’s dog. I’m being told to wait because apparently the doctor is in a procedure and only 1 student or doctor available to discharge a dog in the entire animal hospital. Even after repeatedly letting the staff know that I have a child I needed to pick up, I am still waiting. This sign may as well be a joke. I have now been waiting an hour and a half. I will never be able to fully express how grateful our family is to UF Small Animal Hospital for saving our dog Mojo’s life. Mojo was referred to UF from another emergency vet hospital in Orlando, because of the severity of his condition. When we arrived, he was brought inside immediately on a rolling stretcher and taken straight in for treatment. There was no waiting, they recognized how critical he was and acted immediately. I had to take my dog there at four in the morning to be put to rest. They were so compassionate and so caring .. I’ve got a great family vet for my animals, but this animal hospital is hands-down the best that ever dealt with. They sent a card and imprint of his paw. That is special The card was hand written That’s special also 5 stars from this family. Thankyou . Your staff is full of ANGELS
It's all about the money. First thing out of their mouth, How much can you pay? Took a bird with a broken leg. Charge was $1100.00. The poor bird had to endure a leg that was set straight out. He couldn't even perch. The medication he was given was not promoting healing, I soon found out when I took him to an avian vet. He flew up on the door and rebroke the leg. I take my doggy here for the PAWS program & they treat him Great! Always patient to answer questions etc.
